Progress ... that’s what this is about. This is a JOURNEY. There is no finish line. When you finish one program you do it again or you move on to the next one. It’s not just about weight loss it is about being HEALTHY. It’s having a stronger heart and healthier lungs. It is lifting heavier, not to be a beast but to be toned. Yes women can lift heavy and not have hulk arms! It’s having a positive relationship with food. That doesn’t mean no cake or wine ever again. It’s having it as a treat not a crutch. Last Week I was hit with stomach pain Doctor says some scar tissue from my hysterectomy 2 years ago did some moving around during my Ab routine & needless to say It Hurt. .
I rested all week, emotional and physically adjusting to the injury & restrictions. .
I woke up today ready to move forward with modification to maintain my Booty 🍑Gains!
It felt good to be back at it......no cancellation fee, no rescheduling, no crowded gym....no awkwardness between me and a perky fitness instructor in front of a whole class 🤦🏾♀️🙄 .

📽🎞VIDEO OF THE DAY🎞📽 Truth talk: this almost didn’t happen. This is the 8th round of today’s Cardio Flow. I was hungry. I had stopped to feed the baby 3x and each time she fell asleep and I tried to put her dorm she wasn’t having it. Girlfriend said she needed cuddles today. I almost just called 🍍pineapples🍍 and would have made this up to myself one way or another. But we know that won’t happen. So she napped and I waited. And when she woke and was happy I resumed. While this is about timed nutrition and getting a workout done it’s also about adjusting and being flexible. I’m trying to take the lessons learned on the workout front and apply them to life. When the going gets tough you don’t call pineapples, you dig deep and find a way to get it done. 17 ♡ 1 ✍

If you spend more than 30 minutes sitting on the couch you have 30 minutes for exercise!! Everything depends on how you want your life to be and what you want for you! If you choose to conform to today’s society then your goals will be small and lead to a dead end. Today’s workout is brought to you by a wardrobe change and a love/hate relationship with these loops. I picked the wrong pants to start with ... loops wouldn’t stay in place ... changed pants ... threw the loops ... tried again and refused to give up. All for the booty gains 🍑🍑🍑🍑 23 ♡ 2 ✍
📽🎞VIDEO OF THE DAY🎞📽 30 seconds of a low intensity cardio move, 30 seconds of a high intensity cardio move ... for 3 rounds. And finish it with a core exercise. A trainer who tells you what to do and it takes the guess work out of your exercise routine. Combine these two things together and you have a recipe for a successful Cardio Core day. The sweat will be real and the victory of completion on a Friday is even better. 19 ♡ 4 ✍
Here’s the thing .... most people cringe at this move but every time it comes up in a workout I LOVE it. I love the challenge it presents. I love the strength it requires. I LOVE how much I have grown in the last 2 years to become stronger at this move. I have grown physically but more so mentally because instead of saying ‘I cant’ I instead say ‘hell yeah I can!’
I’ve recently seen some comments saying this is abusing your body and unrealistic. Questions posed as to what do you do after 21 days or 80 days? Statements such as ‘you will gain your weight back and loose your strength’. Well the answer to that is this is NOT abusing my body but pushing to my limits which I can physically handle. And after 21 days or 80 days you KEEP GOING! You don’t stop, you KEEP going. This isn’t a quick fix fad diet. This is a lifestyle. No I’m not an athlete training for the olympics but that doesn’t mean I can’t be the best healthy version of myself possible. Walking and yoga are fine but guess what, your body needs a variety of exercises to keep muscles engaged and stretched and toned. •
So don’t look at this move and automatically say ‘I can’t do that’ ... instead make it a goal and work towards it! Diets and fads restrict ... a lifestyle teaches you how to maintain. It’s as simple as that. 27 ♡ 2 ✍

📽🎞VIDEO OF THE DAY🎞📽 Holy legs! Day 53 brought a whole new meaning to a leg day workout. A slider move, a power plyo move and a strength move (basically so you can catch your breath 😝). I’m going to enjoy being sore tomorrow because I know I gave it my all. •
I’m getting one-on-one training at home and it is entirely effective. I’m not abusing my body. I’m not starving myself. I’m being the best version of me that I can be. I’m choosing to not eat cake and cookies and chocolate. Instead I am eating foods that are keeping my blood sugars in check so much that I don’t need meal time insulin to regulate them. I’m doing this so I can have energy to keep up with a little girl who is actively on the move. Criticizing my choices won’t stop me from doing what I am doing but criticism comes from making assumptions and not having all of the information. If you have questions ASK me. Autumn likes to keep us guessing with the workouts every day so while this may look like something we have done before the twist on today’s Cardio Flow was building up to all 10 exercises (4 reps each) and doing the whole series of moves 8 times! The only reason you can’t do it is because in your mind you tell yourself you can’t or that you’re tired or it’s too hard. Well guess what, you have been building for this moment so you CAN do it. Take a deep breath, center yourself, remember
your why and break it down to one move at a time. You will surprise yourself at how much stronger you are physically than you mentally give yourself credit for. 28 ♡ 1 ✍
