Each ingredient plays a role in fighting depression, lowering cholesterol and creating healthy skin. Bonus: They're low-carb as well! 😉 🐟⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ INGREDIENTS⠀⠀ ✅ 4 oz fresh tuna steak⠀⠀ ✅ 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (~¼ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 2 Tbsp soy sauce, without sugar⠀⠀ ✅ 1 garlic clove (~⅛ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 1 tsp ginger (grated) (~⅛ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 1 Tbsp sesame oil (~½ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 2 Tbsp sesame seeds (~⅔ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 1 cup broccoli (chopped) (~3 oz)⠀⠀ ✅ 1 fresh chili pepper⠀⠀ ✅ 1 lime (~2 ¼ oz)⠀⠀ ✅ ½ tsp mixed herbs (frozen or fresh)⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ DIRECTIONS⠀⠀ 1. Mix the sesame seeds with a bit of herb seasoning and place on a flat surface, then turn the tuna steak over in the mixture to make sure all sides are coated.⠀⠀ 2. Boil some water in a saucepan and place the broccoli in a steamer or sieve over the top for about 5 mins (or until tender). Remove once done.⠀⠀ 3. Peel and finely grate the ginger and garlic, then add to a bowl with the soy sauce, honey, and lime juice. Mix well to combine.⠀⠀ 4. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium-high heat, then add the tuna steak and cook for about 20 seconds on each side until seared.⠀⠀ 5. Once tuna is seared, cut into slices and arrange on a plate alongside the broccoli. Pour the soy sauce mixture over everything and scatter some chili slices on top. Finish with any leftover sesame seeds.
